Derrick was transplanted to Downtown Nashville in 2013 from Virginia and absolutely loves this city! Derrick attended Bridgewater College where he majored in Sociology and Buisness Management. At Bridgewater he was a standout basketball player, where he lettered all four seasons and was team captain his senior year. As a sports and fitness junkie, Derrick has been involved in either competing or coaching competitive sports for the last 20 years. The coaching hasn'tstopped since moving to Nashville. He now coaches cross country,  basketball and track at the University School of Nashville.

Nathan Blankenship
VP of Operations
Personal Trainer • Group Instructor

Nathan has been teaching fitness since 2000. He started in a school setting as a P.E, Wellness, Weights and kinesiology teacher.  Nathan was also the strength coach for all athletics at the high school level. He decided to leave the teaching field in 2013 to continue with fitness instruction through personal training, group training, and various classes.  The background and experience has given him the knowledge to work with any age group or skill level to help obtain general to sport specific fitness/wellness goals.  Nathan is a firm believer in implementing a workout program that includes proper movement preparation, injury prevention exercises and ending with static passive stretches for the cool down. Lastly, he have 25 years experience in aquatics from basic swim lessons to competitive training for triathlon or swim team.

Kortni Koutrakos

Kortni joins our team as Market Development . Kortni was raised in Columbia, South Carolina and graduated from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina in 2008 with her Bachelors in Business Administration and Public Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior and a Master’s in Public Health in 2014.

Kortni’s professional background includes Corporate Wellness Development, Healthcare Business Development, and Healthcare Quality Consulting and Analysis and currently is employed by Vanderbilt University Medical Center as a Healthcare Quality Business Analyst.

Maria Srciminti
Outreach Specialist
Group Instructor • Personal Trainer

Maria's passion lies in helping her clients uncover their strength and feel amazing! She is a certified group exercise instructor and personal trainer with a heavy background in fitness management. Some of her previous roles include the Club Coordinator at iRock Fitness and the Fitness Specialist at Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center. She is completing her Bachelor's in Exercise Science at Belmont University. In addition, Maria, a Pennsylvania native, is on her way to becomincoachg a holistic health!

Phillip Hardy
Personal Trainer

Phillip has been involved in athletics a majority of his life. Earned a degree at North Carolina State University where he also competed in Track & Field. The training journey started when he was asked to help coach the youth in summer Track & Field, seeing people achieve goals sparked a fire and he quickly decided to get certified. Phillip obtained his certification through Nation Academy of Sports Medicine and is currently pursuing a specialization in Fitness Nutrition with them as well.

Becca Cunningham
Yoga Instructor

Becca is a Nashville native who grew up in Franklin, TN and went to college at MTSU. Having always been an athlete and after being a competitive swimmer for nearly 13 years, Becca took an elective yoga class in college in 2008 and immediately fell in love with yoga asana. It wasn't until later during her time in NYCthat she started exploring the meditative and spiritual elements of the practice. After moving back home to Tennessee, she received her 200hr RYT certificate so that she could share her love of yoga with others. Her classes have a feel good vibe with a focus on self love and awareness, while striving to create community where everyone is always welcome. You'll be guaranteed to work up a sweat to great music and also receive the much needed stretchy, juicy reflective time
